Concerned About Cost?

If you’re looking at the amount of each payment and multiplying that amount by the total number of payments, you might be thinking, “Whoa, this is expensive!” However, there are a few things to consider when looking at your Loop Fund loan offer:

You can pay off your loan at any time without penalty.
You only pay interest on your loan for as long as you need the money.
The earlier you pay back your loan, the less interest you pay.

Even though we give you the option of paying off your loan over the course of 17 months, most borrowers pay off their loan well in advance. That’s why it’s important to consider how long you actually need the loan.

Payments Too High?

If you would like to lower the amount of each payment, you can select a lower total loan amount while reviewing your offer.

As you select different amounts from the dropdown menu on your offer page, you can see how your payment amount would change.

Wanted a Higher Loan Amount?

We use a number of different data points to determine the total loan amount of your offer (e.g. income, credit score). Ultimately, we want to make sure that you can afford the loan and consistently make your payments.

Sometimes this means we can’t offer you as much as you are requesting. However, if you move forward with a Loop Fund loan and make your payments on time (or pay off the loan early), you will likely become eligible for a larger amount on your next loan.
